BitCan offers integrated services covering field tests and monitoring, laboratory studies and numerical simulations. Major scope of services is as follows: Reservoir GeomechanicsInnovations in in-situ development of unconventional reservoirs such as heavy oil and oil sands. Analysis and design on overburden integrity, sealing capacity of the overburden for reservoir stimulation, hydrocarbon storage, subsurface waste disposal, CO2 sequestration, and etc. Geomechanical characterization and coupled geomechanical reservoir simulation for naturally fractured reservoirs. Reservoir compaction, changes in reservoir compressibility and ultimate reservoir access and utilization. Coupled geomechanical reservoir simulation. Design on infill well drilling, completion and stimulation.
Geomechanical MonitoringDesign, manage and interpret geomechanical monitoring, such as surface heave, subsurface deformation, micro-seismicity and groundwater microdynamics. We offer combined InSAR imaging/GPS/surface leveling/tiltmeter network to monitor cm or mm-level surface deformation. Our unique advantages are: We employ numerical simulations to study the detailed mechanisms of the monitored indices and therefore, can cost-effectively design the monitoring network accordingly.
